الصلصال المنزلي - Home made Air dry clay

فكرت كثيرا في اول موضوع اشارككم به، ولم اجد افضل من بداياتي في عالم الصلصال، و طريقة صنع الصلصال المنزلي الذى يجف بالهواء، مع اضافة بعض النصائح و الاسرار التى وصلت اليها بعد العديد من التجارب .

في البدايه بحثت كثيرا عن عده طرق لصنع الصلصال المنزلي، و جربت اكثر من طريقة ( بعضها فشل تماما ) و في النهايه توصلت الى افضل طريقة و افضل نتيجه و سوف تحتاجون فيها :

نصف كوب من الغراء الابيض (غراء الخشب)

نصف كوب من النشا (نشاء الذرة)

1 ملعقة كبيرة عصير ليمون

ذرة ملح

1 ملعقة كبيرة زيت اطفال

الطريقة : 

تخلط المقادير معا في وعاء صالح لدخول الميكروويف ثم تدخل الميكروويف لمده 15 ثانيه و تخرج لتقلب ثم نعيدها مرة اخرى لمده 15 ثانية اخرى و تقلب ثم تكرر 15 ثانية اخرى بعدها تكون العجين قد تماسكت. 

تدهن اليدين بكريم مرطب و تعجن المكونات على سطح املس مدهون بالكريم ايضا حتى تتماسك و تصبح ناعمه تماما

ثم تحفظ في علبة محكمة الغلق او تلف في سولوفان مع التأكد من عدم تعرضها للهواء حتى لا تجف.

هذه افضل طريقة جربتها مع الأخذ في الاعتبار انه من الممكن ان تحتاج الى اضافة قليل من الغراء او النشاء على حسب العجين حيث ان انواع الغراء تختلف في السماكة لكن في كل الاحوال هذه الطريقة تعطي افضل نتيجه .

نصيحتي اعداد كميات صغيرة لان هذا النوع من الصلصال يفسد بعد فتره ولذلك من الافضل العمل بكميات صغيره في كل مرة.

طبعا الصلصال الذي لدينا الان ابيض، و هنا تأتي مرحلة التجارب، لقد جربت اكثر من طريقة لتلوين الصلصال سوف اطرحها و اذكر افضلها من وجهة نظري :

في البدايه استخدمت الوان الطعام و كان الوضع فوضاوي جدا، الصلصال كان يحتاج الى كميه كبيرة من اللون حتى اصل الى الدرجه التى اريد كما انه كان يصبغ كل شيء حوله، و كان الحصول على عدة الوان صعب لان الوان الطعام محدودة جدا.

جربت بعدها الوان الماء و كانت تجربه فاشلة ايضا لضعف تأثير الوان الماء كما انها كانت تغير من قوام الصلصال.

حصلت على افضل نتيجة من تجربة جاءت بالصدفة، كانت ابنتي تلعب بالصلصال الخاص بها (نوع لا يجف في الهواء) و فكرت ان امزجه مع الصلصال الخاص بي  في البدايه جربت كمية صغيرة جدا و كانت النتيجه رائعه، تحسنت جوده الصلصال الخاص بي كما ان اللون رائع و اصبح العمل بالصلصال الخاص بي اسهل لانه كان املس جدا بالنسبة لي في البدايه و صعب التشكيل اما بعد اضافة صلصال الاطفال فأصبح متماسك اكثر و سهل التشكيل ( على الرغم من ان ابنتي كانت غاضبة لاستخدامي الصلصال الخاص بها ).

اعتمدت هذه الطريقة و صنعت بها العديد من الأشكال الرئعه مع وجود بعد الملاحظات :

تأكدي من ان صلصال الاطفال من النوع الذي لا يجف في الهواء ( عادة يذكر هذا على العلبه) حيث اني جربت انواع اخرى ولم تنفع .
اخلطي الالوان معا اولا للوصول الى اللون المرغوب ثم اضيفيها الى الصلصال الخاص بك مع الاخذ في الاعتبار انه ابيض ولذلك اللون سيصبح اللون  افتح.
 قد لا تلصق القطع مع بعضها عند التشكيل لان الصلصال بدأ يجف لذلك يمكن استخدام قليل من الصمغ للصقها معا .

من الممكن طبعا تلوين الصلصال بعد ان يجف على ان يكون التلوين بألوان اكريلك حتى تثبت و تكون واضحة .

اتمنى ان اكون افدتكم و لو قليلا و قريبا ان شاء الله سوف اشرح طريقة صنع البديل المنزلي للأدوات التى نستخدمها في تشكيل الصلصال .

Hi every one , hope you are all fine .

So I have been thinking about the subject of my first blog and could not think of a better option than how I make my own clay at home (the air dry one) and my experience in coloring it .

OK so as a beginner in the clay world I started searching for recipes and I have tried few of them, after a lot of try and error below is the best recipe I used and you will need for it :

half a cup of wood glue

half a cup of starch 

1 table spoon of lemon juice 

1 table spoon of baby oil

pinch of salt

Just mix all the ingredients together in a microwave bowl and then put it in the microwave for 15 seconds take it out mix it again and in to the microwave for another 15 seconds 

take it out mix it and then the last 15 seconds in the microwave, at this point you should have a dough that hold like ball.

just use some moisturizer cream on your hands and some on the surface you are going to use and keep mixing the dough till it is smooth and not sticky (you may need to add some glue or some starch depending on the consistency) after that just keep it in a well closed container or a plastic bag .

I recommend doing small patches as the clay goes bad in like 2 weeks or so, so just do as much as you know you will be using .

Now we have a white clay and time for the coloring process, I have tried meany ways so I will list them and then tell you my favorite . 

At first I tried food color, and it was a mess, it took so much color to get to the shade I like and it just dyed every thing around it .

I did try water coloring too and I was not satisfied with the result as it did not give me the color I want and it changed the texture of the clay. 

My best result was actually after a crazy idea, my daughter was playing with her clay ( the kind that dose not dry in air ) and I thought why not try mixing some of it with my clay and see where it goes, and by far it was the best thing I have tried. it gave me the color I want and it improved the texture of my clay making it a little easier to handle so it was a win win ( although my daughter was grumpy that I am taking from her clay ) .






A few notes to keep in mind :

Make sure that the kids clay you use is the kind that does not dry in air as I tried other kinds and it did not work .

Mix out the colors first to get to the color you want, and then add it to the air dry clay you made, and keep in mind that because it is white in will lighten the color .

If while working the peaces was not sticking together, it is because it's starting to dry so you can use some glue to hold it but make sure to use a small amount so it will not miss up the look of the charm.

you sure can color the charm after drying, and it is better to use acrylic colors for that .
